I bought this CD from my local classical radio site to support them. I am so glad that I did! This has some fantastic interpretations of old favorites, Jolly Old Saint Nicholas/Jingle Bells, Silent Night and traditional songs, Greensleeves, Veni Emmanuel. There are Renaissance tunes and old French/Brittany carols along with many more. Ukrainian Bell Carol, Noel Nouvelet/Sommeil De L'Enfant Jesus/The Kings Travel East, Dansas Nativitas are some examples. They use flute, Celtic harp, violin, viola, cello and Irish whistle among other instruments. Wonderful CD by very a very talented group of artists. I will be buying all the Silverwood Quartet CD's I can find.
