This book had me captivated from the first chapter. I hearing his story thru his point of view, being able to relate to some of the experiences he has had I couldn’t put this book down. When I started reading this boom I thought it was a story of pain, I didn’t know much about the author other then he was local, by the end of the book I am astonished on how someone with the world against them found beauty, strength, and self love. The courage he was able to find and having that support goes to show that if you want it bad enough we can accomplish our dreams. This book is raw and sometimes graphic and we needed that as a reader to be able to feel closer the the author. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us!
